Washdown/Exposure Package – IP65

CMC has designed and implemented a special coating and sealing package that enables minimum IP65 protection, perfect for washdown, clean room, and environmental-exposure applications. This is a highly-desirable alternative to much more expensive and heavier stainless-steel solutions and has proven its worth in hundreds of defense, marine, wood-processing, food-adjacent, and washdown/clean-room projects.

Position Sensors

All CMC linear actuators come standard with two end-of-travel magnetic field position sensors/limit switches to help protect your investment from damage to due over-travel impacts.

Absolute Positioning

CMC actuators are available with magnetostrictive absolute position feedback sensors with easy system integration via a wide range of available interfaces.

Backlash Elimination

Inline configurations are available with no discernable backlash – without reducing load capacity.

Internal Anti-Rotation

CMC actuators come standard with a robust internal anti-rotation system, so you are free to design for your application without the concerns of external anti-rotation features.

Motor Mount Isolation

To eliminate undue wear on motors and motor bearings often found with belt drives, CMC’s unique motor mount design isolates the motor from potential side loads and uses gears instead of belts so there is never a concern over wear or stretching of belts.

Lubrication Options

CMC actuators come standard with grease lubrication but are also available with oil lubrication systems.
